“Don't want to close my eyes
I don't want to fall asleep…”
And now we’re on the same page, you got that song stuck in your head too.
No, we didn’t change our niche to music discovery app, we added a new feature - In-app notifications. This is a third way (next to email and desktop notifications) you can be notified about the activities of interest in VivifyScrum.
In-app notifications work in a well-known way. We added a bell icon in the upper right corner of the screen and you will see a red dot (you didn’t expect that color, right?) every time you receive a new notification.
There is a brand new Notification Settings page within your Account Settings (a magic click on your profile picture and your name) where you can tell VivifyScrum to stop sending notifications about an activity you don’t want to know about. Some notifications are turned off based on your previous settings, and you can change that too on the Notification Settings page.
You can also unsubscribe from notifications related to a specific item or from the notification type in general.
What you might find useful is accessing an Organization or a Board to which an Item belongs directly from the card in the notification sidebar. All you need to do is click on the Organization or Board title, or on the Item code.
The very best thing about these in-app notifications is that they will not just blip on your screen once and then disappear into nothingness - so you really won’t miss a thing.
Which brings us back to the song :)
