Let's just get right into it.
Two-way Integration with Git
Due to popular demand, VivifyScrum now features a two-way integration with GitHub, GitLab and BitBucket!
While software developers are not the only users of VivifyScrum, they still make up the biggest portion of our user base and we are always looking for ways to make their lives easier (after all, we’re developers too).
One of the most common functionality suggestions from our dev users has been to make our integrations with GitHub, GitLab and BitBucket work both ways.
Well, we did it!
You can now enable a two-way integration that will automatically update your GitHub, GitLab and BitBucket issues when you make changes to the corresponding Items in VivifyScrum. This entails their name, the description of issues and labels that you assign them in VivifyScrum (labels do not work with BitBucket).
Find out more on how to set everything up here:
In addition to this, we enabled our users to connect their pre-existing issues in GitHub, gitLab and BitBucket with new Items in VivifyScrum (items that will be created by connecting them).
Have fun and let us know if you have any questions or ideas!
New Filters for your Worklogs Page
In order to make the VivifyScrum Worklogs page even more useful, we have added a couple of filters to help you find just the right worklogs that your team logged.
The new filters you can use include the Type where you can, for example, only see Worklogs for Bugs or Improvements.
You can also filter your Worklogs according to their Description. With this filter, you can find all Worklogs whose Description includes a specific word or phrase.
Finally, you can also filter Worklogs according to their Parent task. This way, you can find all Worklogs for all the Subitems of a specific Parent task.
Of course, if you think of a way to improve our Worklogs filters or the Worklogs page in general, make sure to let us know.
VivifyScrum Time Tracker - Now on Item Cards
VivifyScrum’s already high-powered Item cards have just become more powerful - you can now use the time tracker on the Item card itself.
You don’t need to download the time tracker app or even install the Chrome extension. You just enable the time tracker visibility option in Board settings and that’s it!
